Transition to new SNPS scheme completed

Milestone: transition to the new pension scheme successfully completed.

You decide how much extra you contribute to your pension.

From January 1, 2026, employer contributions will be the same for all ages. Every month, Shell contributes 21% of your salary. On top of that, you choose your own contribution. This consists of a mandatory fixed contribution of 2% and a flexible contribution. The default flexible contribution is 5%. However, you can choose to lower or increase it between 0% and 7%. You can change your choice at any time. If you don't make a choice, your flexible contribution will remain at 5%.
