Do you receive a pension benefit from Shell Pension? And do you live abroad? Then we need proof that you are alive annually. You will receive a letter or e-mail from us shortly asking you to share your Life Certificate for this year. Please ensure we receive your certificate by 1 July 2024 at the latest so we can confirm your eligibility for the pension.  

Quickly and securely provide your proof of life using the app 
Previously, filing your proof of life was a time-consuming process that required an authorized entity to fill out the form. However, in 2021, Shell Pensions conducted a pilot with a select group of participants, allowing them to share their proof of life digitally. These participants rated this experience an 8+. As a result, the app is now available to all participants living abroad to simplify the process.

The letter or e-mail you receive from us contains a QR code. Please download the app and scan the QR code to confirm that you are still alive by sharing the data from your identity document. This process will only take five minutes.
